Learning Outcomes:
- Students will be able to compare cultural perspectives and express insights about their own cultural beliefs and preconceptions.
- Students will be able to discuss the intersections between Italian culture and its history, values, politics, communication styles, economy, or beliefs and practices.
- Students will be able to experience and interpret intercultural activities without preconceived biases and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in their interactions with others.
- Students will be able to ask thoughtful questions of Italian culture and respond in a way that reflects multicultural perspectives.
- Students will be able to recognize verbal and non-verbal modalities of Italian and Italian culture and employ them successfully in communication.
