Overview

The Department of Finance prepares students for the dynamic environments of investments, corporate finance and financial planning.  All students gain a broad understanding of corporate finance, investments, and financial markets and institutions before completing a track of specialized classes in investments, corporate finance, or financial planning.

Special Opportunities

Students in the finance major typically obtain entry-level positions in a wide variety of financial fields such areas as banking, investment banking, corporate finance, financial planning, insurance, risk management, and government services.
