Requesting a Blackboard organization

Description

A Blackboard organization (e.g. Human Resources Operations Certificate) is a space for groups who are not associated with an academic course. Enrollment is managed manually by the creator.

Solution 

As Ohio University transitions to  Canvas , we will no longer create non-credit spaces (such as organizations, test courses, or manually created courses) in Blackboard, except in rare cases with  approval from OIT Canvas admins . Instead, we recommend the following alternatives:

If you have an existing organization and would like to add or remove users, submit a request on the Learning Management System: Blackboard  page, selecting the Add Users detail
