Description
Trouble shooting issues with microphones in
large
,
medium and small
classrooms
Solutions
Large Classrooms (99+)
If you are unable to hear your voice coming through the speakers in the room, adjust the volume by clicking on the speaker icon on the lower right corner of computer screen.
If you experience feedback:
Turn down the volume by clicking on the speaker icon on the lower right corner of computer screen.
Make sure other devices located in the room have their microphones muted.
Make sure the stick or lavalier mics are turned on and not on mute. There should be a steady green light showing.
An orange light indicates that the microphone is muted. Unmute by quickly pressing the button on the microphone to change it to green.
If there is no green light or a flashing green light, then the batteries are low and need to be replaced.
Medium (25-98) and Small (1-24) Classrooms
If you experience feedback:
Turn down the volume control knob on the left side of the lectern.
Make sure other devices located in the room have their microphones muted.
