Installing Adobe Creative Cloud on a Personal Computer

Adobe Creative Cloud It is a set of applications and services from Adobe Inc. that gives you access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography, along with a set of mobile applications. 

Environment

As a faculty or staff member, you can request Adobe Creative Cloud access by visiting the  Adobe Creative Cloud  page to create a request ticket. Once you have Adobe Creative Cloud access, you can install Adobe Creative Cloud on one personal computer while you are actively employed at Ohio University.

Solution 

Installation instructions (please read all instructions before proceeding):

  • Visit  Adobe's website .
  • In the upper right corner, select Sign In. Sign in with your OHIO email address and password.
  • When prompted, select the option for Company or School Account.
  • Then select the OHIO UNIVERSITYprofile.
  • Once signed in, select Appson the toolbar on the left of the page.
  • Once signed in, browse or search for Creative Cloud or the individual applications you would like to install.
  • Select Installon the desired applications or Download for Creative Cloud.
    • The Creative Cloud download may take 30 minutes or longer.
    • After it is downloaded, double-click on the downloaded file to install Creative Cloud.
    • Once Creative Cloud is installed, open it and choose which Adobe apps you want to install onto your computer. You can also use the Creative Cloud app to easily update any Adobe apps that have new releases published.

Outcome: You will now be able to access Adobe Creative Cloud from your personal computer.
