Description
Ensuring your current physical address is up to date in the MyE911 app is critical for first responders to locate you quickly and accurately in the event of an emergency. If the MyE911 app does not recognize your current location, it will automatically open a browser window and prompt you to enter your address.
RedSky MyE911 is essential for Jabber users. If you use Microsoft Teams softphone exclusively and do not use Jabber, there is no need for the RedSky MyE911 app. Please follow the instructions on the Emergency 911 Calls in Microsoft Teams page
to ensure you have the correct settings for location emergency location sharing within Microsoft Teams.

Solution

In the lower right corner of your screen, in your start bar, select the up arrow to open the System Tray

Right-click on the red "MY" circleto display the options for MyE911

Select Open
-
A new myE911.anywhere.e911cloud.com webpage should automatically open in your web browser.

If you are off campus
:

Select the Add Location and Set as Current button

Populate all fields that appear in the pop-up window

Select the Add and Set as Current Location button to save

If you are on campus
:

Search for your building under Let's find you
-
Select the building and floor of your location
Outcome: You should now be able to update your location in the RedSky MyE911 app.
