Getting Started

Installation instructions: 

For Personal Devices:  

  1. Go to the MathWorks web site . 
  2. When you get to the MATLAB Portal select‘Sign in to get started’ under the Get MATLAB and Simulink 
  3. Enteryour OHIO ID credentials. 
  4. Select  the download button for the current release.  
  5. Choose a supported platform and download the installer.
  6. Runthe installer. 
  7. In the installer, select Log in with a MathWorks Accountand follow the online prompts. 
  8. When prompted to do so, select the Academic – Total Headcountlicense labeled Individual. 
  9. Selectthe products you want to download. 
  10. After downloading and installing your products, keep the Activate MATLAB checkbox selected and select  Next. Follow the prompts to activate.
