Forwarding a call in Jabber

Description

Jabber allows you to forward your calls to another phone number.

Environment

PC, Mac

Solution 

1. Along the bottom of the Jabber main window, select the  call settings button:

   

2. From the list, select  Forward calls to > New number.

3. Enter the new number to call, and then select  Forward.

   • For non-university numbers, enter one of the following:

     • Local Calls: 9 + 10 digit number using area code

     • Domestic Long Distance: 9 + 1 + area code + telephone number

     • International Long Distance: 9 + 011 + country code + city + number

     • Toll Free: 9 + 1 + 8xx + number

Outcome: You should now be able to forward your calls to another phone number using Jabber.
