  • Discussions  - Post, review, and respond to threaded course discussions.  Discussion Board forums may be based on focused topics or a general Q&A format.

  • Email  - Send an email to the OHIO Catmail account of all course users, select groups, or individual classmates with the Send Email course tool.

  • Groups  - Your instructor may create student groups within your course to provide a collaborative space for projects, study groups, or facilitated smaller discussions.

  • Journals  - You may share your work or reflect on course topics privately with your instructor through posted topics.

  • Wikis  - Share and collaborate with your peers by contributing and modifying course-related materials.

  • Blogs  - Build a personal online journal that is shared with your classmates and comment on your peers' blogs.

  • Messages  - Course messages are private and secure text-based communication that occur within a course among course members.
