Visual Studio is a standalone source code editor that can run on multiple platforms. This Integrated Development Environment (IDE) provides an array of tools and features to elevate and enhance software development.

How to request access

Contact the IT Service Desk  with the following information:

  • Software Title

  • Quantity

  • Operating System

  • OHIO ID of each user who needs a license

  • Departmental account number for billing

Once we have processed your order, the Technology Help Center will email you a download link.
