Description

Panopto is a cloud-based application for recording lectures, presentations, or events for later replay by students or colleagues.

Access

• Once set up by the Instructor of Record, Instructors and Students access Panopto through the LMS:

  • Canvas

    • Instructor login directions for Canvas

    • Student login directions for Canvas

  • Blackboard

    • Instructor login directions for Blackboard Original

    • Instructor login directions for Blackboard Ultra

    • Student login directions for Blackboard

• Non-instructional Staff (opens in a new window)

  • Staff login directions

  • Staff should consider requesting a manually-created Canvas course or contact the IT Service Desk for assistance.

Who can access

• To create or upload content: Faculty, staff, and emeriti.

• To view content: Anyone; however, content owners have the option of limiting access to their lectures/files. 

How to request access

• Non-instructional staff in need of creator access should contact the IT Service Desk after account creation .
