All Ohio University students are invited to an evening of fun, food and games at the Party at Ping.
The Party at Ping will take place Saturday, Aug. 20, from 6 – 9 p.m. on the Ping Center front lawn, which will be arranged with exciting activities designed to keep attendees entertained into the night.
This year, head organizer Meagan Day says participants have a lot to look forward to.
“There will be food and drinks from local vendors, entertainment and games including DJ Aroc, a photobooth, caricature and henna artists, inflatables and yard games,” Day said. “Students will also have the chance to challenge President Sherman to a rock-paper-scissors contest!”
To wrap up the evening, beginning at 8 p.m. there will be a special, up-close showcase performed by the Marching 110.
University Well-Being and Recreation hosts this event as a part of OHIO Welcome Week to provide students the opportunity to meet, interact, mingle and engage with fellow students in a fun, outdoor setting. All students are invited to grab some food, play some games and hangout all while enjoying great local music.
There is no prior registration necessary; drop by anytime to see all that Party at Ping has to offer.
