As previously mentioned in this OHIO News article , University Human Resources (UHR) is updating the process for receiving and retrieving W-2 forms, starting with the 2024 W-2s issued in 2025.
In collaboration with the Office of Information Technology (OIT), UHR will be transitioning to the services of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) for the processing and filing of the 2024 W-2 forms for all OHIO employees. Moving forward, W-2 forms for 2024 and subsequent years can be found in My ADP. W-2 forms for 2023 and prior years are accessible in My Personal Information (MPI).
Going paperless
Starting in November, employees are able to log into My ADP to opt-in for electronic-only W-2 forms. By the end of January 2025, ADP will provide electronic W-2 forms and send paper W-2 forms to employees who prefer not to opt for electronic-only forms.
Going paperless step by step
- Navigate to My ADP.
- Employees can also find the link to My ADP in MPI under the W-2 Wages and Tax Statements page.
- If it is the first time signing into My ADP, employees will be greeted with a message about going paperless for tax statements.
- Once employees have selected the preferred method, they can select “X” to close out the window.
- If employees do not initially choose to receive an electronic W-2 through the pop-up window, employees can still select this option by Dec. 31.
