
Associate Professor of Mathematics
Paul Abraham is an accomplished mathematics educator and academic leader with over three decades of experience in higher education. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Ohio University Lancaster, a position he has held since 2019.
Prior to his current role, Paul served as an academic administrator at Ohio University from 2010 to 2019, where he held leadership positions including Associate Dean at OHIO Lancaster and Dean of OHIO Eastern. His administrative leadership focused on academic programming, faculty development, and student success initiatives.
Paul began his academic career as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the College of the Ozarks, later joining Kent State University’s Stark Campus where he served as Assistant and Associate Professor of Mathematics from 1996 to 2010. His work there was marked by excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and service to the university community.
He earned his doctoral and master's degrees from Kent State University and holds an undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University. Throughout his career, Paul Abraham has remained committed to the transformative power of mathematics education and the mission of regional campuses in serving their communities.
