Coordinator of Regional Higher Education Workforce Initiatives and Support 

Tricia Denny is the Coordinator of Regional Higher Education Workforce Initiatives and Support at OHIO Lancaster. In this role, she leads workforce development efforts designed to meet the education and training needs of the region. Tricia actively supports Ohio University’s programs offered through the Fairfield County Workforce Center by executing outreach and development strategies that build new partnerships with industrial and community-based agencies. She also provides guidance and support to students pursuing Ohio University’s three standalone certificate programs.

Before stepping into her current position in 2024, Tricia served as the Regional Recruitment Manager at OHIO Lancaster, where she focused on expanding recruitment efforts across the region. Her strong background in education includes over two decades as a dedicated classroom teacher—spanning 17 years at Fairfield Union Local School District as a middle school teacher and five years as an elementary school teacher with Lancaster City School District.

Throughout her teaching career, Tricia embraced leadership roles, including participation as an Ohio Network Regional Leader for Mathematics through the Department of Education and serving as a Resident Educator Mentor for pre-service and new teachers.

Tricia holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio University and a Master of Arts in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University. She is passionate about connecting learners with opportunities and helping others join the Bobcat family.
