Ohio University reaches settlement in litigation with two graduate students

ATHENS, Ohio (Nov. 14, 2018)  - Ohio University is pleased to have reached a settlement in the litigation filed by graduate students Susanna Hempstead and Christine Adams against Ohio University. Survivors of sexual violence and harassment rightfully seek resolution in many ways.  In reaching a legal settlement, we acknowledge the challenges these survivors have endured, and will continue to endure. We recognize this is a small step in the healing process. As the University moves forward, we will continue to challenge our campus community to help us strengthen our commitment to a sexual violence and harassment free campus.
