Gregory Kremer, Ph.D.
Greg Kremer began his career as a mechanical design engineer for General Electric Aircraft Engines (1988-1993) before pursuing his advanced degrees at the University of Cincinnati. He joined Ohio University in 1998, and teaches the senior capstone design course for the ME and EnE programs, with the theme "Designing to Make a Difference." He has been chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering since 2006. Kremer, selected as a Carnegie Scholar for 2005-2006, is a practitioner and scholar of experiential education and integrative learning, with a passion for helping students develop a broad set of professional competencies. He is the Director of the Robe Leadership Institute, and engages in disciplinary research related to sustainable energy and sustainable design.
