Research interests:Paz researches the negotiation of the outlaws and their identities in Medieval Icelandic sagas, Old Norse, Indigenous studies, the supernatural, and Mexican American identity.
Recent Accomplishments
- Attended the International Summer School in Modern Icelandic Language & Culture at the Árna Magnússonar Institute at University of Iceland, Reykjavík.
- Received funding from: Arts & Sciences Graduate Travel Award ($1000), Lobdell Award ($1500), Office of Global Affairs Foreign Language Immersion Scholarship ($500), Office of Global Affairs Graduate Travel Award ($1,500), Original Work Grant ($750), and Graduate Travel Award ($750) for this summer school.
