Through the the Center of Consumer Research & Analytics, students have the opportunity to have an internship-level experience working with different companies and to present your work to high-level decision makers at these companies. Each semester, the CRA conducts 8-10 live-client consumer research projects. Students have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of the world's best brands such as Red Bull, Kellogg, Culver's, Smucker's, Hershey, Dick's Sporting Goods, the Cleveland Guardians, Adidas, The Alzheimer's Association, and so many more.
Students work on a team of 4-5 research fellows lead by a dedicated faculty advisor and experienced student research lead. During this process, students are mentored in how to conduct a consumer research project, which often includes skills in survey design, conducting a focus group, quantitative and qualitative analysis, graphic design, and more.
Research Fellowships in the Center for Consumer Research and Analytics is open to all OHIO students with an overall GPA of at least 3.0. Fellows must have a strong interest in consumer behavior and marketing research, be highly motivated with a capacity for leadership, and be willing to contribute a significant amount of time to the program. Interested students can contact Dr. Jessica Weeks, Associate Director of Academics, for information regarding the admission and application process.

Joining the Center for Consumer Research and Analytics was one of the most beneficial decisions I made in my collegiate career. The CRA faculty taught me the importance of storytelling through data and how to turn insights into actionable business results. I had the opportunity to work with real-world clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 Companies and presented to executives across the state of Ohio. I can confidently say that the Center for Consumer Research and Analytics has allowed me to distinguish myself among my marketing peers and I would highly recommend it to any student interested in marketing or consumer behavior.
