Beth Gibbons, Executive Director at American Society of Adaptation Professionals , discusses how climate change adaptation and resilience is growing by leaps and bounds. This growth is demonstrated by the number of practitioners and researchers active in this field and the sophistication and diversity of adaptation and resilience strategies being deployed. This talk will provide an overview of the growth that we are seeing in the adaptation field looking back to 2019 and projecting forward into the coming year; an explanation of the role that ASAP is playing in supporting and accelerating the adaptation field; and a lively tutorial on resources and products that students, faculty members, and practitioners can apply to their adaptation related work and research.
