The Center for International Business Education and Development (CIBED) offers graduate, undergraduate, and executive international educational programs in 13 countries. We have partnerships with more than 20 foreign universities to provide unique educational programs that immerse students in international business.
More than 35 years of experience and exposure of Ohio University faculty to foreign management practices and cultures, the use of the latest information technology, and innovative classroom teaching practices using authentic business consulting assignments, make Ohio University's College of Business uniquely qualified to deliver international educational services.
About Our Programs
At the undergraduate and graduate level, international teams of business students work as consultants to develop solutions for companies competing in the global market. Student teams learn to develop solutions that consider the complexity of the business problem in the context of diverse cultures and international competition.
Programs for high-value executives provide training and education on a wide variety of business topics such as organizational transformation and strategic human resource intervention. Our programs can be customized, ranging from week-long seminars to advanced degree programs.
Meet the Team
Global Consulting Program Site Directors
Site Directors are primarily OHIO College of Business faculty members who are responsible for managing the on-site portion of the Global Consulting Program. Each is trained by the GCP Director, who maintains extensive experience managing international programs.
Site Directors travel to the site and work alongside students for the duration of the program and play a major role in preparing students prior to travel. They have considerable knowledge and experience about the GCP and the location they represent. GCP Site Directors are the best people to ask if you have specific questions about the GCP experience.
