Research

I conduct cancer research in Dr. John Kopchick’s laboratory to understand the role of growth hormone and its actions on the progression of different types of cancer using cell culture, mouse models, and clinical human cancer data. We are working on elucidating the mechanisms involved in these processes, including drug resistance, and trying to apply growth hormone receptor antagonism as a new therapeutic to treat cancers and sensitize them to established therapies.
