Bethany Lemont, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Economics in Ohio University's College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on using econometric methods to assess the efficiency and equity of the organ allocation system in the United States. Specifically, she quantifies the impact of allocation policies and innovations in the use of organ donors for groups of patients who have historically had a harder time gaining access to transplantation.
