Marianne Jacobs, MPH, is a research scientist for the Institute to Advance Health Equity (ADVANCE). She studied Applied Nutrition and Public Health at Ohio University. She served two years with COMCorps, an AmeriCorps program in a local school district, and has volunteered with local organizations, including Community Food Initiatives, Live Healthy Appalachia, and Athens Food Rescue. She is a proud Bobcat and is passionate about serving the Ohio University and Athens communities.
