The online Master of Science in Nursing - Nurse Educator (MSN-NE) degree from Ohio University includes 11 courses and 30 total credits. You will also complete 500 hours of nursing education experience to apply your studies in both academic and direct care settings. This CCNE-accredited program is designed to be completed in five semesters on a part-time schedule.
Coursework focuses on providing the knowledge and practical expertise you need to prepare future generations of nurses to thrive in our complex health care system. You will learn to design, implement and evaluate education programs for nurses at all levels.
Graduates of the MSN-NE program are eligible for certification as a National League for Nursing Certified Nurse Educator (CNE).
