Ohio University's Physician Assistant Practice Department is:
- Housed in a large, dedicated academic space (28,000 square feet) in the Ohio University Integrated Education Center in Dublin, Ohio.
- Proud to have a diverse and interdisciplinary faculty representing PAs, physicians (DO and MD), and a licensed pharmacist. Collectively the faculty has experience in emergency medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, public health, endocrinology, geriatrics, surgery, orthopedics, and research.

The Ohio University Physician Assistant (OHIO PA) program is intended for individuals with a commitment to provide health care services in underserved urban and rural communities, with a particular emphasis on the underserved populations in Appalachia. The program includes 76 semester hours of didactic coursework and 30 hours of clinical rotations for a total of 106 semester hours.
