Ohio University Therapy Associates has provided physical therapy services to Ohio University students since its inception in 1984. Today, Ohio University Therapy Associates staffs the OhioHealth Campus Care clinic with a board certified orthopedic physical therapist and other physical therapists to provide excellent care to students in need of care for all kinds of conditions: musculoskeletal dysfunction, rehabilitation for general orthopedic conditions, spine rehabilitation, post-operative care, TMJ dysfunction, gait/running analysis and return to running programs, and orthotic intervention.
Our therapists focus on hands-on, one-on-one treatment, with emphasis in manual therapy (e.g., mobilization, manipulation, soft tissue mobilization), therapeutic exercise and return to function. All patients receive an individualized evaluation and treatment plan formulated in conjunction with patient outcome goals.
OhioHealth Campus Care also provides a clinical education opportunity for our pre-physical therapy and physical therapy students. It is our goal to provide clinical education settings with the highest standards of practice.
