Anita is a native of Buffalo, New York and has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame, an M.Ed. in Mathematics Education from the University of Pittsburgh and teacher certification in Mathematics 7-12 from SUNY at Buffalo. She has lived in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Columbus, Ohio and has family connections to the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario, Canada.
She has been married to her husband for over 30 years and has two sons. One son is an OU Bobcat and Marching 110 alumnus, the other is an OSU Buckeye.
Anita loves the Athens area, enjoys exploring the hiking and kayaking locations in Southeastern Ohio, and really digs in to home gardening and landscaping.
