Counseling and Higher Education
Dr. Leah Howard earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Mercer University. She holds a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Georgia State University and a B.A. in Education from Spelman College. She also completed a certificate in Sports Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Howard teaches Counseling Children & Adolescents, Foundations of Counseling, Counseling Interventions & Techniques, and other graduate-level courses in the counseling department. Her philosophy is that all students are capable of learning with the right guidance.
