Liz Zimmer is a senior studying Civil and Environmental Engineering. She chose OU because of the beautiful campus and the wonderful people here. The faculty, staff and fellow students have helped her develop and grow as a student, professional and person. She chose civil engineering because of her passion for protecting and improving the environment and communities.
During her time here she has become a part of many student organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers, Learning Communities, and the club tennis team.
During the summers Liz has worked at many internships, this past summer she worked for AECOM’s water group and got to visit many cool distribution networks project sites happening in NE Ohio and learned important design skills.
Outside of engineering Liz enjoys cooking, baking, playing tennis and traveling.
