School of Music and College of Fine Arts Scholarships
Talent-based scholarships are available for accomplished incoming music majors. Students must be admitted to a degree program in the School of Music and be accepted for admission to Ohio University to be eligible for Scholarship consideration. Students may audition prior to receiving formal notification regarding admission status to the university, but under no circumstances will any scholarship consideration be made for a student who has not completed the application process.
All music scholarships for incoming students are awarded on the basis of the student's audition, potential, musical and academic background, and program needs. Notification regarding School of Music and College of Fine Arts talent awards is normally sent in late March to early April to incoming students who have been selected as scholarship recipients.
