What is S.T.E.M. (WITS) Day?
S.T.E.M. (WITS)Calling all future innovators to join us for S.T.E.M. (WITS) Day '25. Over 300 enthusiastic students will come together for a hands-on, one-day experience focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. During this bi-annual program, students will engage with expert S.T.E.M. professionals, participating in interactive sessions that offer a deeper insight into these dynamic fields.
This event aims to inspire and empower the next generation of innovators by providing them with the opportunity to explore potential careers and gain valuable skills from industry leaders.
The entire conference, including lunch and the keynote presentation, is offered at no cost to the students or to their schools.
The Works served as the keynote presenter for 2023.
The next conference is set to take place in May, 2025.
Why do we need S.T.E.M. (WITS)?
The purpose of S.T.E.M. (WITS)is – through education, inspiration, and empowerment, S.T.E.M. (WITS) aims to motivate students to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students engage with advanced scientific knowledge and gain insights from experts in various fields, including chemistry, engineering, computer science, mathematics, criminal justice, medical technology, and veterinary medicine.
