Dance: History and Theory Minor

Program Overview

The dance history and theory minor is for non-dance majors who are interested in dance as a form of culture, art, and history. Coursework emphasizes historical, cultural, and aesthetic studies of dance globally and through time. This minor complements study in fields such as literature, history, journalism, communication, playwriting, museum studies, and global studies.
