Would you like to take control of your diabetes? The Diabetes Institute offers "Diabetes & Me" Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support sessions to help people gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to manage their diabetes. These individualized meetings cover topics such as the disease process, health eating, exercise, medication management, monitoring blood glucose levels, preventing complications, and stress management. You can meet with a diabetes educator in person or virtually.

National Diabetes Prevention Program
If you have prediabetes or other risk factors for diabetes, join the Diabetes Institute for "Prevent T2," a yearlong lifestyle change program. Participants meet in a group setting with a trained lifestyle coach to learn how to make manageable lifestyle changes.
Not sure about your risk? Take the prediabetes risk test!
Sessions help you lose weight, increase energy, sleep better, and manage stress. Research shows that this program can help those with prediabetes reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by up to half. Groups start January, May, July, and October.
