Ohio University will host a Health Scholars Research Symposium on Friday, Feb. 2.
All students, faculty, staff and area residents are invited to the event, which will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Grover Center.
The Health Scholars Research Symposium will be co-hosted by the Ohio University College of Health Sciences and Professions, Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service. The symposium will showcase 64 research posters by OHIO students and postdoctoral fellows and will include an awards presentation and keynote speaker.
The events throughout the day will highlight the research being conducted at Ohio University that impacts the state of health in Ohio and beyond. The day’s events will include:
- 11 - 11:30 a.m. - Deans Remarks
- 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Poster Awards Presentation
- 12 - 1 p.m. - Keynote Speech by Dr. Gilbert Liu , medical director of the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center
- 1 - 2 p.m. - View Posters/Networking
This presentations will take place in Grover Center, E234 , and will be shown online for students, faculty and staff from the regional campuses who would like to attend virtually.
