Max is from Dayton, Ohio, and has been making movies since he was 11. Last year, after his first year of film school shifted online, Max took the initiative to make his own short film over the summer.
Hagan, an interdisciplinary artist with a background in dance and film, worked with dancers at Ohio University as part of a weeklong residency in the School of Dance at the end of August 2021.
