Rose Moremoholo is a dedicated researcher and communication specialist from Lesotho who has joined the PhD program in Health Communication. She focuses on the health and well-being of women and girls, particularly in the area of maternal health. With a background in journalism, risk communication, and community engagement, she brings a unique combination of media expertise and development-oriented research to her work.

Rose holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Development Studies and is a former Fulbright scholar. She is passionate about utilizing strategic communication to improve health outcomes in underserved communities. Her research interests include maternal health advocacy, health messaging, and the role of media in shaping and enhancing health behaviors. She emphasizes empowering women and girls through informed, culturally sensitive interventions.

With experience in media management and community-based health campaigns, Rose aims to bridge the gaps between research, policy, and public engagement. Her goal is to foster equitable health communication strategies in Africa and beyond.
