Dolapo Michael Oyedokunwas born and raised in Ibadan, the largest city in West Africa. As a dedicated academician, Dolapo has a strong passion for teaching and research in Media and Communication Studies. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Babcock University (2018), a master's degree in International Relations from Lead City University (2022), and a second master's degree in Mass Communication from Nasarawa State University (2024).
Dolapo’s research expertise spans both quantitative and qualitative methods, with a focus on citizen journalism, social media, political communication, international communication, and cultural diplomacy. He is also beginning to explore the analysis of fake news, an emerging area of interest in his research that he aims to uncover in future work. Beyond academia, Dolapo loves traveling, exploring big cities, and having fun. He is also passionate about nature, enjoys listening to music, making new friends, and learning about different cultures.
