Hello all. Just wanted to share this opportunity for our current students. The ACES Climate Justice in Counseling Interest Network invites currently enrolled graduate students at the master's and doctoral level (in counseling degrees) to participate in an essay contest focused on climate justice in counseling. Criteria and awards for the 2025 contest are described below. Completed essays should be submitted to wjk4 at nau.edu <mailto: wjk4 at nau.edu > by no later than midnight, Feb 1st, 2025. Essay Prompt: What should counselors do to address climate justice with clients and in communities? Criteria: -Written in APA style -Word limit of 2,000 words, excluding references page(s) -Focus should be on aspirational ideas of what counselors can do, but we welcome you to share real-life examples of any work you are actively doing towards those goals -Graduate student must be a member of ACES Awards: First place: $150 and essay published in a future CJC newsletter Second place: $25 Third place: $25 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
