All papers are considered for the MWERA Distinguished Paper Award, for which the recipient receives the opportunity to present their research at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) annual meeting and a $150 travel stipend. MWERA also awards the Isadore Newman Dissertation Award annually to celebrate outstanding dissertation research, which provides a $500 travel stipend to present at the MWERA annual meeting. The deadline for nominations for the Isadore Newman Dissertation Award has also been extended to Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:59 P.M CDT.
