Born and raised in Ohio, Tony Gregory earned his undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition and Community Health from The Ohio State University in 2014 He began his career in the fitness and wellness industry before completing a master’s in Recreation and Sport Pedagogy at Ohio University in 2016. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs, Tony’s research interests and professional practice center on student engagement, leadership development, and holistic well-being.
Tony has held a range of leadership roles in higher education, including Wellness Coordinator at The Ohio State University, Fitness Program Director at Georgia Southern University, Assistant Director of Well-Being & Fitness at Ohio University, and now Director for Student Organizations and Campus Programming at Ohio University. His experience spans well-being education, student leadership development, campus programming, and building cross-campus partnerships.
Tony has helped lead campus-wide initiatives such as the THRIVE Well-Being Campaign and Exercise is Medicine On-Campus. He is also actively involved in supporting student well-being, belonging, and leadership. His work is grounded in a passion for student well-being, mental health, and physical activity.
