Our Mission
The OUHCOM Psych Club seeks to provide resources to students interested in the field of psychiatry. Our purpose is to promote the study of this field by connecting students, faculty, and community resources. By creating a greater appreciation of mental health, Psych Club endeavors to foster a more comprehensive understanding of the people affected by them. Through its educational opportunities, Psych Club is committed to expanding public knowledge in brain sciences thereby decreasing the stigma of mental and behavioral conditions in the Athens, OH community and beyond.

Psych Club intends to carry out its goals and purposes by supporting the involvement and leadership skill development of medical students with an interest in psychiatry.
Tentative Schedule for 2025-2026
Events may include panels with practicing psychiatrists and residents, donation drives for organizations that provide mental health services, and fun activities events for students related to psychiatry and other similar professions.
