The Office of International Student and Scholar Services contributes to the global mission of Ohio University by providing services and support for the international community and by furthering their personal and intellectual development. In addition, we collaborate with the greater university community to advance global diversity on campus, to foster transformative intercultural experiences, and to promote the development of global leaders.
The Kennedy Museum of Art is an integral part of the educational, research, and public service missions of Ohio University. The purpose of the Kennedy Museum of Art is to enhance the intellectual and cultural life of Ohio University and the region through quality national and international exhibitions, collection-based research, and diverse formal and informal learning opportunities. The Kennedy Museum of Art exercises its public trust by focusing its collections on those works of art that it has the resources and capabilities to house, preserve, study and exhibit.
The Multicultural Center seeks to provide a diverse range of programs and opportunities that are educational, recreational, social and cultural. Committed to supporting and promoting multicultural awareness, the staff develops programs that increase understanding and appreciation of cultural differences by familiarizing the campus community with the contributions and histories of African American, Hispanic/Latino American, Asian American, and Native American cultures. The Center serves as a place where cultural teaching and learning are the focus of all programs and activities. Its focus is intercultural, and provides a place where members of the university community, representing a variety of backgrounds, participate in programs and activities. All programming for the Center is designed to increase human understanding through the study and expression of culture.
The Office of Global Affairs (OGA) promotes the University’s Global Strategy, global partnerships, and strategic communications to enhance the pan-university globalization efforts at Ohio University. As Ohio University's hub for global engagement and relationship management, we build partnerships across campus and around the world and serve Ohio University faculty, staff, students, and partners promoting global understanding and cooperation.
The Office of Global Opportunities (OGO) contributes to the global mission of Ohio University by providing services and support for students looking to enhance their education with global experiences. OGO connects students to a wide-array of opportunities including study abroad, study away, working abroad, interning abroad, volunteering activities, and virtual experiences. In addition, OGO collaborates with the greater university community to advance global diversity on campus, to foster transformative intercultural experiences, and to promote the development of global leaders.
The Office of Health Promotion strives to create a safe and healthy campus environment where the OHIO community can flourish through an emphasis on self-empowerment, inclusive peer health education and evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.
