PC and Mac
After you have downloaded/launched the Proctortrack app and you've completed the identity verification portion of the exam in Proctortrack, you will be sent back to the LMS (Canvas or Blackboard). A blue border will appear around your screen indicating that Proctortrack is active.
Once you're back in the LMS, you will see your webcam video stream displayed at the bottom right of the screen.
If the instructor has opted to show the exam password:
You will see Exam Password: followed by the password outlined with blue at the top of the webcam video stream box.
Type the displayed password into the exam password field, or highlight the password text and paste it into the exam password field, then select Submit.
If the instructor has chosen to hide the exam password:
You will see Exam Password outlined with blue at the top of your webcam video stream.
Select the blue Exam Password boxto copy the exam password. Confirm that you see the Access Code Copied Successfully message displayed at the bottom of the screen.
You will then have 20 seconds to paste the password into the exam password field. If you wait longer than 20 seconds, you will need to re-copy the password by selecting the Exam Password boxagain.
Right-click within the exam password field and select Paste. The password should appear in the field as multiple asterisks. Select Submitto proceed with the exam.
Once a password is copied, students have 20 seconds to paste the password in the exam password field in Canvas or Blackboard.
If you're unable to paste, attempt to copy the exam password again by selecting the blue Exam Password boxat the top of the webcam video stream, found in the bottom right of your screen.
