Recommended
The most straightforward approach to adding course content in Canvas is to:
Apply the OHIO Canvas course templates which include pre-built elements and instructional language to guide course organization for instructors and create an intuitive and consistent student experiences.
Upload Blackboard Original tests, surveys, pools and rubrics to Canvas
Upload files to Canvas from Blackboard, OneDrive, or your device
Another option for adding Blackboard content to Canvas is Importing full course content to Canvas from Blackboard and reorganizing the content in Canvas.
This method involves creating an export file (.zip) that contains all the components of a Blackboard course and upload this file to Canvas. Your Blackboard course content will be added to your Canvas course shell.
However, there is no one-to-one correlation between Canvas and Blackboard for the content that is uploaded. Each component will be added to Canvas as an individual page resulting in considerable time devoted to reorganizing your content in Canvas.
Outcome: You can now select the appropriate option for adding content to a Canvas course.
