Description
On university-owned Mac devices notifications from specific applications are allowed by default to save you time in adjusting settings each time you install a new app on your device. These pre-approved notification settings are greyed out in System Settings
and System Preferences
.
However, we understand that you might want to customize your notification preferences for certain applications. To access notification settings, you will need to submit a help desk ticket to update your access to these settings and make the desired changes.

- Create a support ticket
.
- In the Ticket title
field, enter Access to the notification settings on your assigned Mac computer.
- Complete the other required fields.
- Select Submit.
- You will receive an email notification once your access has been updated.
Outcome:You should now be able to update app notification settings.
