Turning off notifications on a University managed Mac

Tags Mac MacBook

Description

On university-owned Mac devices notifications from specific applications are allowed by default to save you time in adjusting settings each time you install a new app on your device. These pre-approved notification settings are greyed out in System Settings and System Preferences .

However, we understand that you might want to customize your notification preferences for certain applications. To access notification settings, you will need to submit a help desk ticket to update your access to these settings and make the desired changes.

Environment

Macs

  3. Complete the other required fields.
  4. Select Submit.
  5. You will receive an email notification once your access has been updated.
