Imagine Athens, Define Your Community: Become a Community Assistant for 2012-2013 Community Assistants are liaisons between Ohio University, off-campus students, the city of Athens, and permanent residents, as well as on-campus students planning to move off campus. They distribute information and announcements, refer students to on and off-campus services, and plan social and service-focused programming in Athens' neighborhoods in order to promote civic responsibility among students. As remuneration, CAs receive $700/quarter. Women, LGBT, and individuals from underrepresented populations are strongly encouraged to apply.
