NAMRC Student Members!!!

There is a fantastic opportunity for you to serve! NAMRC is preparing to
hold elections for the year 2010 and we are looking for individuals to serve
as our NAMRC Student Representative. NAMRC has a solid history of investing
in our student members and was one of the first rehabilitation organizations
to add a Student Representative position to our national Board of Directors.
Here is your opportunity to become a part of that history!

Our student representatives serve a two-year term during which they:

Act as liaison between the student members and the NAMRC Board of Directors.
Makes recommendations relative to student interests and matters regarding
programs and professional development. Participates in planning student
activities during the annual conference, and represents and communicates the
interests of student members of the Association.

If you are interested in serving NAMRC in an official capacity and will be a
student for the next two years....please submit a brief bio and goal
statement of why you want to serve on the NAMRC Board and one or two goals
you have, if elected.  *Your bio and statement should not exceed 500 words*.
(NOTE: Statements will cut off at 500 words if submissions are longer).  If
you wish, you may also submit a photo, which will be accompany your
statement/bio on the NAMRC Website.

Individuals can also be nominated for this position. Please provide a brief
bio and contact information of anyone nominated.


*The deadline to submit is Friday, October 9th, 5 p.m.**
