The Primer on the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Process is composed of three sections: Understanding the Background and Process of Psychiatric Rehabilitation; Tracking the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Process; and Recording the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Process. Approaching Deadline for the Certificate Program in Psychiatric Vocational Rehabilitation The Certificate Program in PVR is accepting applications until February 26th for the May 2010 class! Designed for working professionals, this part-time continuing education course is offered in two 1-week sessions to accommodate people for whom a traditional on-campus course is not feasible. Practitioners will focus on competency development in the topic areas below, completing practice assignments in their home agencies - perfect for service providers who are new to the vocational realm as well as for practitioners who wish to add to their skills in engaging persons with severe mental illnesses in the process of choosing, getting and keeping employment.
