Director and Associate Professor/Professor-Tenure Track 

Mississippi State University’s Research and Training Center on Blindness and 
Low Vision (RTC) invites applications for a Director/Associate 
Professor/Professor position within the College of Education. The mission of 
the RTC is to enhance employment and independent living outcomes for 
individuals who are blind or visually impaired through research, training, 
education, and dissemination. 

The Director provides leadership and management for the effective operation 
of the RTC. Examples of current projects include a NIDRR-funded RRTC on 
Employment Outcomes of Individuals who are Blind or Visually Impaired, a 
NIDRR-funded DRRP on Transition Services for Youth who are Blind or Visually 
Impaired, and multiple state VR agency program evaluations.
